Tactile Functions explores the internal landscape of the body and brings the organs out to play, inviting the viewer to interact with the soft shapes. Organs are inside the body, each part functioning to keep the machine running, but we cannot interact with them directly. They work unconsciously without guidance. I return to the body as a safe space when overwhelmed by the uncertainty of the future. The internal body is a neutral site, a world within a world, Tactile Functions represents this world in a playful and comforting way.
